Koh Larn / Coral Island – Pattaya City's most popular Island!

Koh Larn, also known as Coral Island lies 8 km away from the nearest mainland shore and it is about 4 km in length. Due to its close proximity to Pattaya it is a very busy island. Traveling to Koh Larn takes only 45 minutes from Pattaya beach by ferry or 15 minutes via speedboat. Koh Larn has approximately 500 permanent residents and about 5000 daily visitors. The island has two small villages on it: Ban Koh Larn and Ban Krok Makhan where there are lodgings and restaurants. There are many activities for you to enjoy there such as parasailing, banana boat rides, shooting,  jet ski's etc.

Most of Koh Larn's beaches are on its western side. The most visited one is Tawaen Beach, where there is a small harbour. The entire length of the beach is lined with small tourist shops behind which are dining halls of restaurants offering mostly Thai and Seafood. Other beaches are Tonglang Beach, Tien Beach, Samae Beach and Naon

The downside of Koh Larn is that the beaches can be very overcrowded and we at Pattaya Yacht Charters like to specialise in Private Charters to secluded, stunning remote islands which are well worth going the extra distance to visit.
